Terrifier 3 Release Date Moved Up for an Early Scare: Art the Clown Returns

A fresh, eerie glimpse at the eagerly awaited "Terrifier 3" shows Art the Clown donning his classic attire once more, accompanied by news of an advanced launch date. Exciting times lie ahead for aficionados of the slasher genre, as a newer preview of "Terrifier 3" has surfaced, revealing not only a sneak peek but also that this eagerly awaited horror sequel will premiere sooner than anticipated, with Art the Clown commencing his spree of terror a fortnight ahead.

According to announcements made by Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse via a press statement, the release of "Terrifier 3" in United States cinemas has been moved to October 11, 2024, from its originally scheduled date of October 25, allowing audiences to revel in the trilogy throughout the haunted season. Yet, with the British premiere date still set for October 25, discussions on an advance are ongoing.

Phil Falcone, the film’s producer, expressed enthusiasm for the advanced premiere: "Bringing the next chapter of 'Terrifier' to cinemas this autumn, just in time for the eerie autumn season, fills us with excitement. 'Terrifier 3' is set to exceed fan expectations with Art the Clown elevating his antics."

In addition to the change in scheduling, a new portrayal of Art the Clown has been unleashed, showcasing him in his iconic monochrome clown garb as opposed to the Santa outfit featured in early previews. In this current visual, Art strikes a peculiar stance, his white gloves stained in what seems to be an ominous attic setting - and is it just me, or does his attire appear more gleaming? Observe the detailed image.

Having completed filming earlier in the year, "Terrifier 3" is a creation of the series' originator, Damien Leone, directing and writing. The narrative continues to follow Art the Clown as he prepares to wreak havoc on the oblivious inhabitants of Miles County on the night before Christmas. The movie features David Howard Thornton reprising his role as Art, with Lauren LaVera from "Terrifier 2" playing Sienna and Samantha Scaffidi from the first "Terrifier" film returning as Victoria Heyes, among other cast members.

The film is set to debut on October 11 in the US and October 25 in the UK. For additional information, explore our compilation of the finest horror films, or stay tuned for the latest on horror movies set to emerge this year.
