Master the Skies: A Comprehensive Guide to Acquiring All Brooms in Hogwarts Legacy

In Hogwarts Legacy, owning a broom grants players the ability to fly around the expansive world, unlocking new areas and making travel a breeze. This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to acquire all brooms in the game, ensuring your character is always ready for adventure.

Step 1: Unlock Broom Flight

Unlock Broom Flight

To unlock broom flight, you will first need to complete Hogwarts Legacy's sixteenth main quest, Flying Class, which can be started by interacting with a glowing circle on the ground outside the Bell Tower Wing. This quest will have you fly through a series of rings, familiarizing yourself with the mechanics of flying.

After graduating from Flying Class, fellow student Everett Clopton will inform you that Albie Weekes is always looking for students to test his newest brooms. At this point, you should go to his Spintwitches Sporting Needs store in Hogsmeade to buy your first broom.

Step 2: Purchase Brooms from Spintwitches Sporting Needs

At Spintwitches Sporting Needs, you will find a total of five different brooms for purchase. Though you only need to buy one to gain the ability to fly, collecting all available brooms will only cost you 600 Galleons each.

The brooms available at Spintwitches Sporting Needs include:

  • - Wind Wisp Broom.
  • - Ember Dash Broom.
  • - Hogwarts House Broom.
  • - Moon Trimmer Broom.
  • - Yew Weaver Broom.

Step 3: Acquire Brooms from Traveling Vendors

Acquire Brooms from Traveling Vendors

In addition to Spintwitches Sporting Needs, there are four other brooms that can be found by exploring the Highlands and interacting with travel vendors. Locating these vendors may require some exploration, but they are well worth the effort. The unique brooms available from traveling vendors include:

  • - Sky Scythe Broom.
  • - Family Antique Broom.
  • - Silver Arrow Broom.
  • - Aeromancer Broom.

Each of these brooms can be found at different vendors scattered around the map. The locations and cost of each broom are as follows:

  • - Sky Scythe Broom: Leopold Babcocke's store outside Hogsmeade Station for 5,000 Galleons.
  • - Family Antique Broom: Priya Treadwell in the Feldcroft region for 2,500 Galleons.
  • - Silver Arrow Broom: Arn's store just south of Hogwarts for 5,000 Galleons (available after completing the Carted Away side quest).
  • - Aeromancer Broom: Rohan Prakash's store southwest of Marunweem Bridge for 3,000 Galleons.

Step 4: Complete Balloon Cluster Challenges for Additional Brooms

To unlock the remaining four brooms in Hogwarts Legacy, you will need to complete a series of challenges that involve finding and popping Balloon Clusters scattered throughout the world. Successfully popping an entire cluster will contribute to unlocking the following brooms:

  • - Night Dancer Broom.
  • - Lickety Swift Broom.
  • - Wild Fire Broom.
  • - Bright Spark Broom.

Each broom requires a different number of Balloon Clusters for you to find and pop. Popping all 32 Balloon Clusters will unlock all four brooms.

Step 5: Upgrade Your Brooms

Upgrade Your Brooms

Once you have acquired a broom, it's time to focus on upgrading it. Upgrades can be purchased after you complete certain quests, and they will improve the broom's speed and acceleration. Albie Weekes will provide three upgrades for your broom, and each upgrade will also apply to all the brooms you have yet to acquire. The broom upgrades and the quests needed to unlock them are as follows:

- First Broom Upgrade: Available after completing the Flight Test side quest and purchasing your first broom for 1,000 Galleons.

- Second Broom Upgrade: Available after completing the Sweeping the Competition side quest and buying the first broom upgrade for 4,000 Galleons.

- Third Broom Upgrade: Available after completing The Sky is the Limit side quest and purchasing the second broom upgrade for 7,500 Galleons.

By following these steps, you will successfully acquire and upgrade all brooms in Hogwarts Legacy, ensuring your character is always ready for adventure in the skies. Happy flying!
